Two 'Saturday Night Live' Stars Will Not Be Returning For The New Season

Well, this blows. *sad face*

This fall, two of NBC's Saturday Night Live's biggest stars will not be returning for the next season.

Jay Pharaoh, as well as Taran Killam will not be returning for season 42 of the iconic NYC based show. Queue the tears.

Whose going to be doing spot on rapper and Obama impersonations for us now?

According to Fuse , the departure for Killam was extremely unexpected. When asked about the ordeal, he commented:

“I had sort of had it in my head I would make this upcoming year my last year, but then heard they weren’t going to pick up my contract."

Apparently, Killam was told that SNL would not be picking up the last year of his seven year contract.

As for Pharaoh, it was already anticipated that he would not be returning, unfortunately. Here's one thing we know for sure; the show will definitely not be the same without these two veterans cracking us up every week. We wish the best in both of of their careers!
