Star Actors' Egos Continue to Clash During Fast and Furious 8 Filming
Vin Diesel Storms Off Set of Fast and Furious 8 Due To Heat With Co-star Dwayne Johnson *Yikes*
It comes as no surprise that friction has developed between Fast and Furious 8 stars Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson. With two actors of their star caliber, it probably is not the first time two big time actors or actresses have problems with one another on set.
Johnson put up a recent Instagram post praising the actresses on set but criticizing the actors. Vin Diesel has taken offense to Johnson's disparaging comments about his fellow actors.
"Some conduct themselves as stand up men and true professionals, while others don't," Johnson said via Instagram. Reports later stated that the post was mostly aimed Vin Diesel who is also a producer on the movie. The two have had a private meeting after having problems with each other since the movie began filming but the tension between them is still there. according to inside sources.
Vin Diesel's reputation labels him as disrespectful to his fellow actors and how he holds up production is said to be rather unprofessional. Johnson has seemingly lost his patience with his co-actor and producer. According to numerous sources, the altercations are mainly about egos as Johnson is unhappy with some of Vin Diesel's decision during the filming.
Just one day after confronting Johnson about his comments Vin Diesel abruptly left the set of Fast 8 at around 1 am Wednesday, and on his way out gave a speech that included the words "Daddy's gone."
Vin Diesel often thinks of himself as a father figure on set. Vin Diesel had in fact been cleared to leave by the studio.
Dwayne Johnson and Vin Diesel's professional egos have clashed during the Fast and Furious 8 filming.
Although there have been no signs of either man willing to apologize to one another Johnson has tried to lighten the drama in another Instagram post. "Like with any team - that's a family there is gonna be conflict," Johnson said. Despite the tension, Fast 8 is currently in it's final week of shooting and the movie is scheduled to come out in April 2017.
